Welcome
A very warm welcome to the John Rankin Schools’ website. We are a Federation comprising John Rankin Nursery School, John Rankin Infant School, and John Rankin Junior School. The Executive Headteacher, Felix Rayner, has overall responsibility for the Federation. The head of school at the juniors is Amy Watkins. The deputy heads of school are Matt Percy, Neda Stephenson and Christina Allison (Special Educational Needs) who lead and manage the day-to-day running of the schools.

The John Rankin Federation is a special and unique place. We have over 600 amazing children whose enthusiasm, dedication and commitment are wonderful. It is a genuine privilege for each and every one of us to welcome them into school each day. They are supported by a dedicated group of staff who inspire and encourage them to shine and develop as individuals. Everything we do is focused on making a positive difference for our children and families.
Our curriculum is broad, balanced and provides our children with many memorable learning experiences and opportunities to develop their learning. We are committed to nurturing our children into well-educated individuals who can make the right decisions and are prepared for the challenges they will face in the future.
